A popular adage states that a picture is worth a thousand words. Indeed, a picture shows a story, a perspective... and to me, a limited view of a script or description. To date, no film is shot before having a proper script. Hence, the importance of writing, even in cinematography.

I will be sharing here some thoughts of movies I have enjoyed. Let's note upfront, that I usually do prefer the book from which the adapted film was inspired, as words trigger imageries in my mind and let it wander at ease, whereas pictures define a certain frame to the storyline... and one of my essentials is Freedom in all its forms and shapes 😉
