I had family staying with me and was wondering what to do with all the strawberries and mascarpone at hand... and remembered that I might combine these ingredients and make a tiramisu with a twist.

You can refer to my 10-min tiramisu recipe, link here. I just replaced the coffee syrup with 1/4 cup of Amaretto and reduced the icing sugar quantity.

Just the same as for a regular tiramisu, place the ladyfingers on your presentation plate. With a tablespoon, pour the Amaretto or coffee on them. Do not add too much of that or the taste would be ruined and the consistency of the cream filling will change. Add a layer of cream filling, then the chopped strawberries. Then cover everything with another layer of cream. You can create as many layers as you want.

Chill in the fridge for several hours. Sprinkle the cocoa powder right before serving to avoid having it soaked.

Bon appétit
