Sun Tzu was a famous high ranking Chinese general, strategist and philosopher. This book compiles 13 chapters of warfare and principles that are applied both in modern day battlefields and boardrooms. So much in the corporate world as in human psychology or conflicts. This is not a writing of the nature of war in its relation to politics. For this, you should read Clausewitz or Machiavelli. Sun Tzu is more about understanding and using deception, reconnaissance and the element of surprise in view of annihilating the enemy. And in the end, tactics applied depend highly on terrain, context and situation at hand. I had read excerpts of it when I was much younger and actually enjoyed listening to this short Audible while commuting to work. If you are into military literature, this is definitely an interesting exploration. You will definitely learn from it!
