This 3D animation movie by DreamWorks is a good watch for the holidays, for both adults and children. It is good to be reminded of the magic of life, especially during this festive season. In this adventure tale, the League of Guardians is made of a Santa Claus with tattoos and a Russian accent, the Tooth Fairy who looks like a delightful and shimmering giant hummingbird, the Easter Bunny who sounds and looks very Australian, and the Sandman who remains mute. These protectors of childhood team up with the free-spirited Jack Frost to combat Pitch Black. Jack is a forever mischievous young lad who wonders about his purpose, while Pitch, also known as the Boogeyman, aims to replace children's dreams with nightmares all over the world. The animation quality is very good. The characters correspond to mythical figures across Western cultures. The storyline points out 2 essential messages: first, each one of us has our own "center", and our role to play in life. Second, hope will always overcome fear. An entertaining adventure for young and less young 😁
