This is the third series of the NCIS franchise. And the first one to have an end, as CBS declared in 2021 that season 7 was going to be the last. It took me about 2.5 seasons to warm up to the way things are handled, and the Nola lingo. I can say that most episodes were entertaining and interesting to follow. I recommend it as a “light” entertainment show with episodes lasting around 40 minutes each. The team is also limited in number, and the leading agent, Dwayne Pride, is very knowledgeable about the city and its customs and he gets quite resourceful. In this show as well, the personal lives of that special squad are revealed bit by bit, some entanglements arise and are mostly addressed with quite some life wisdom. Christopher LaSalle is a senior field agent and the right hand of the chief, Special Agent in Charge, Pride. Loretta Wide, the medical examiner, is another closest friend of Dwayne's. Sebastian Lund is a forensic scientist, who is many times lost in his thoughts and a bit aloof and quite smart in handling his findings. Meredith Brody and later Tammy Gregorio are special agents to complete the crew. Special Agent Hanna Khoury will tag along starting season 5 and her character is also an interesting one to discover. This was an enjoyable show to me, at times even more than NCIS Hawaii. Enjoy!
