Any chef can make mistakes now and then. For a blind chef, missteps might happen more often. And it remains your choice to consider things as a blessing or a curse. In my mom's case, it has always been a sign of grace! Moreover, for the Blind Chef, every simple mishap that was made was simply turned into a fun story. We would be sharing the anecdote around the table with our loved ones, or when mom was having an interview, discussing her approach to life. From the Nutella jar in the pasta experience to any inconsistency in textures, a good laugh was always there!
You might wonder how come? Is it the Blind Chef's philosophy? Well, yes. Whenever my mother is sharing a recipe, she ends it with a line that goes something like this "the most important ingredient at the end is a sprinkle of love". This is sort of her imprint at the end of every recipe!
Moreover, if you take a look at all 5 lessons of this series, you cannot but notice that they all go back to love, my mother's biggest asset of all!
