The book's title intrigued me. With the ongoing trend of many Westerners seeking enlightenment in Buddhism, Hinduism, or other Asian faith systems, the journey of a Tibetan monk to Christianity sounded at least interesting to be discovered. And I wasn't one bit disappointed. Time flew while I was listening to the narration on one of my road trips.
Tenzin was offered by his parents to the local temple. Even if it wasn't his choice, he embraced the monastery's life and learned about the mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism. The secrets make him ponder and he starts searching for a higher Truth. His quest will lead him on perilous paths, as he chases a higher consciousness. He also exposes how the monks don't mind debating Islam but Christianity and specifically Jesus are not to be mentioned. This condensed story will show you the hardships of Tenzin until he reaches the Love of God.
A recommended and compelling memoir, that anyone can enjoy! Happy reading 📚
