Different continents. Different cultures. Different myths. The common object of these tales: the moon. Most legends consider the moon a female being. And contemplate it as a symbol of fertility, passion, or violence. The stories can be either romantic or morbid. They just show how much humans have been attracted to planet Earth's natural satellite. Some people believe the moon influences our bodies as well as animals and plants. While some scientific data can support some of the lunar theories, my nightly getaways are only meant to help me empty my mind from the external cacophony and get in touch with my peace.
