This last season of the Netflix show aired on June 10, 2022. Like many others around the planet, I was looking forward to continue watching the Shelby's saga. This season is more contemplative, differently brutal and the Shelby family, torn by the tolls it has paid and not as united as it used to be, has expanded its businesses and ties across the continents. They are not the thugs of modest origins with an office in Birmingham anymore. The gang has evolved and its characters have matured as the years have passed and it is obvious that new times will require new strategies and opportunities. Will they be able to get closure from their own demons? One thing is for sure, watching this series will push the spectator to contemplate their views of right and wrong, black and white, and all the greyness in between.
