This dramatic TV short series might be presented as a documentary on the Knights Templars and their quest for the Holy Grail. It is not. While the fictional characters are meant to fit into a historical storyline and the warrior monks are portrayed as protectors of the people, the eras overlap and the medieval chronology is not accurate. However, the show remains entertaining. The 18 episodes are full of bloody battle scenes, violence, and sex.
