This ancient and relatively inexpensive blue-green stone is commonly used as a jewel and is not as precious as jade. It was coveted by Ancient Egyptians, who used it in significant scriptures, such as the Book of the Dead. Tutankhamun's treasures included a scarab ring and other artifacts made with Amazonite. According to Brazilian tales, the shields of the famous Amazon warrior princesses were decorated with Amazonite stones. And peoples of Central and South America have worn it in jewelry for thousands of years ✨

Promoting general health, the Amazonite is believed to have a calming energy and to heal trauma and illness. It promotes prosperity as well.
