The second part of season 6 is made out of 10 episodes. They were first released on Amazon Prime in December 2020. I was looking forward to watch this sequel as episode 10 had ended with a battle. Would the Vikings win? Loose? Draw a tie with the Rus? We all know the historic facts but Vikings, the series, is foremostly about Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons. Ragnar was a larger than life persona and each one of his 4 descendants carries part of their father's legacy in them. In those newly released episodes, new ways are replacing the old ones and paganism and Christianity are battling each other's influences ferociously. I found the second part of season 6 boring at times. It dragged on and the characters don't always captivate you like in the first seasons. The finale still makes it worth your while.
