SUITS is a series about a successful law firm, located in Manhattan. A young college dropout with an amazing photographic memory, Michael Ross (Patrick J. Adams), catches the attention of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), the "City's best closer". Mike is recruited to work for/with Harvey, who is a self-centered and brilliant lawyer, even though the smart youngster has no legal experience or any diploma for that matter. The show also stars the characters Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) who skillfully manages the firm, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) a control freak who will gain your sympathies, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) who is a particularly bright and sexy secretary and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) who is a competent paralegal with the typical stupid girlie attitude. By season 8, boxing ring Sam, Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl), joins the team with her go-get-it attitude. This legal drama is often sassy, clever and most of the time smartly delightful. The right combination to take one's mind off the daily realities and problems with the witty and at times sophisticated plot twists.
