In the previous post, I shared some photos from São Paulo city where I always land coming to Brazil. My second imperative stop on all my itineraries to and inside of Brazil is São Vicente, which pertains to the state of São Paulo. Considered the first permanent city of Brazil, hence being named Cellula Mater -Mother Cell-, São Vicente is where my best friend lives with her family. It is beautifully located by the ocean and is the commuter town for the neighboring, wealthier harbor city of Santos, the biggest port in the Americas. Santos houses industrial and shipping centers, and exports sugar, "steel, oil, cars, oranges, bananas, and cotton" (read more details here). I will only share pictures from São Vicente in this piece. I am sure you will like the view from the monument of 500 years of Brazil, built by the famous Oscar Niemeyer. Enjoy the curated photo collection!
