Today is my 45th birthday. I feel great and happy. But that is not the main reason for me to celebrate. Age to me is just a number and a state of mind, which explains my eagerness to unlock the next "stage", i.e. an additional year in life. Lucky me, this year happens to be an odd number as I am not fond of even ones 🤪 My soul might be ancient, but my spirit is the one of a 30-year-old. I firmly believe there always is a lot to be commemorated and many a thing that has been an inspiration. I cherish every joyful memory and keep in mind the teachings of life's lessons. So, as a general rule, birthdays never meant much to me, if it weren't for my baby sister who was born on the exact day and date 11 years after I came into the world. She constantly motivates and supports me, and is the best sister and friend one can ever wish to have! So here's to you sis, I am forever grateful that you always make my life meaningful and I am blessed to have you have my back 😘
